In an interview with Young Hollywood Selena stated that she has been writing songs since age 11 or 12, and hinted that it helped that kids are always dramatic. She didn't say whether the songs she wrote would be on the album, but it's safe to guess that like Miley's Meet Miley Cyrus album, Selena Gomez's "new side" will be shown.
She has said she and Demi Lovato are huge fans of Paramore, and that she's a converse girl, so we're guessing they'll be plenty of rock!

Damn it!!! Why din’t I get into the writing field. I too love writing, but I am looking for a right approach. How did you manage to become such a good writer? Is there a special course that you have done to get into writing?
